Amidst the intensifying climate crisis, the United Nations has affirmed that the private sector plays a pivotal role in advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — especially in the domains of Climate Action (SDG 13), Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure (SDG 9), and Partnerships for the Goals (SDG 17).
In a global landscape where ESG has become a new standard for investment, governance, and corporate accountability, publicly listed companies can no longer operate without considering their systemic impact on the environment and society. The transition toward sustainability is no longer optional — it is imperative.
In response, the program “Climate X: Innovation for Climate Restoration” has been developed through a strategic collaboration among Thailand’s leading public agencies in science, technology, and innovation. The aim is to support the business sector in transitioning into innovation-driven organizations that actively contribute to the global goals.
