Sustainism Initiatives or STNSM – Sustainability Trade and Networking for SDG Missions
Sustainism Initiatives is an international organization established to accelerate the transition of the global economy toward true sustainability. It serves as a strategic mechanism that integrates trade, cross-border collaboration, and mission-driven partnerships aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

STNSM has been formally recognized by the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA)—an intergovernmental organization operating across the Asia-Pacific region—with institutional and structural support from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).

In a world where global challenges cannot be addressed by governments alone, STNSM functions as a high-level international cooperation platform—bridging the private sector, public institutions, and multilateral bodies to co-design policy pathways, elevate responsible practices, and reposition trade as a critical force for planetary restoration and inclusive development.
STNSM focuses on 3 core missions aligned with United Nations principles
- Announcement – Facilitating formal declarations of commitment by businesses to align their sustainability policies, strategies, and long-term goals with the SDGs and global frameworks. Each declaration is accompanied by a structured Statement of Commitment, linked to international mechanisms such as GRI, ISSB, TNFD, and SBTi.
- Recognition – Providing independent recognition of sustainability processes and value chain integrity that meet internationally accepted standards—ensuring credibility and visibility within UN-recognized systems.
- Publication – Curating and disseminating high-quality ESG narratives through internationally relevant publications and platforms, including presentation opportunities at official UN venues such as the Climate Action Forum (CAF) and other SDG-focused policy summits.
STNSM, as a co-founder of the Climate Action Forum (CAF) alongside the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA), has played a pivotal role in shaping one of the region’s most significant sustainability leadership platforms. Officially convened at the United Nations , CAF serves as a high-level summit dedicated to climate restoration and its critical link to biodiversity. The Forum provides a globally respected stage for disseminating cutting-edge knowledge, showcasing exemplary case studies from across the Asia-Pacific, and empowering private sector leaders to present ESG strategies that deliver measurable, real-world impacts.

What sets CAF apart is its unique emphasis on ESG performance that is directly mapped to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—ensuring that each initiative presented is not only mission-aligned, but also verifiable through international frameworks. As a result, CAF functions not merely as a platform for dialogue, but as a policy-integrated mechanism that amplifies the voice of the private sector within the UN ecosystem—credibly, equitably, and with transformative influence.
Through this structure, STNSM serves not merely as a trade association, but as a global cooperation instrument that enables businesses to transform vision into measurable outcomes—policy influence, market credibility, and meaningful contributions to the collective mission of humanity.
