SSA : Green Partnership Accreditation for Sustainable Success

Applications open from 1 May 2025 onwards

Sustainism, in collaboration with international sustainability partners, proudly announces the official launch of the “100 Sustainability Services & Supply Chains Alliance” certification program for 2025. This regional initiative aims to identify and recognize 100 outstanding ESG solution providers across the Asia-Pacific region who are ready to support and accelerate the sustainability transformation of leading organizations.

The program serves as a strategic platform to elevate green innovation, scale climate and nature-positive solutions, and strengthen ESG-aligned supply chains. Certified members will become part of an active regional alliance committed to advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the Global Biodiversity Framework, and net-zero targets through credible, actionable, and collaborative approaches.

Principles of Certification under the “100 Sustainability Services & Supply Chains Alliance”

The certification granted under the “100 Sustainability Services & Supply Chains Alliance” is not merely a symbolic recognition—it is a strategic business instrument designed to unlock new opportunities for SMEs across domestic and international markets. Grounded in the principles of accountability, transparency, and transformation, this certification empowers sustainability service providers to become recognized contributors in building resilient economies and inclusive value chains. The key principles are as follows:

The program covers 12 core ESG service domains, ensuring a holistic and strategic approach to sustainability implementation

  • AI for ESG
  • Carbon Credit & In-Offsetting Solutions
  • Consulting & Strategy
  • ESG Certification & Verification
  • ESG Law
  • ESG Reporting
  • Sustainability Tech & ESG Innovation
  • Investment & Green Finance
  • Media Disclosure & Activation
  • Sustainability Branding & Marketing
  • Supply Chain & Sustainable Procurement
  • Training & Workshops

1. Establishing Immediate Credibility with Large-Scale Buyers
Today, corporations—both local and global—are required to report their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) performance to shareholders and financial institutions. They no longer “prefer” suppliers with verified ESG credentials—they require them. Certified SMEs under the Alliance gain instant credibility, becoming eligible for vendor shortlists without further justification. The certification serves as a “Green Pass,” accelerating supplier onboarding processes and signaling that the business is audit-ready and aligned with global ESG expectations.

2. Unlocking Access to Green Finance and Impact Capital
Financial institutions and green investment funds are actively seeking SMEs with demonstrable impact and transparent systems. This certification strengthens SME eligibility for green loans, ESG grants, and sustainability-linked financing. For SMEs aiming to scale up environmentally responsible products or services, this becomes a powerful asset that competitors may lack—offering access to capital channels often closed to traditional enterprises.

3. Enabling Value-Based Growth without Price Competition
Sustainability-conscious consumers are willing to pay more for products and services that reflect environmental and social responsibility. Certification positions SMEs as “value creators,” not just price competitors. By using the Alliance mark on packaging, digital platforms, and business communications, certified SMEs increase brand trust, customer conversion, and long-term loyalty—transforming from local providers to regional ESG players.

4. Gaining Visibility and Entry into Global Sustainability Platforms
For SMEs with aspirations to present their work at global forums such as the United Nations’ Climate Action Forum (CAF2026), this certification serves as a verifiable first step. It affirms that the business is doing the work—with data to prove impact. Through Sustainism’s network, certified SMEs gain access to partners like UN ESCAP, TNFD, and other multilateral platforms that recognize transparency and tangible contribution to the SDGs.

These four principles ensure that certification is not an endpoint—but a launchpad for SMEs to engage in systemic, scalable, and profitable climate action. The program offers not only recognition, but an integrated pathway for SMEs to drive inclusive, low-carbon growth and to participate in shaping the sustainable economy of the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
