From Regional Collaboration to Global Transformation through Climate Action
CAF is the premier summit for sustainability and climate restoration, recognized at the United Nations level. It is convened through a strategic partnership between AFMA—an intergovernmental organization under the FAO of the United Nations—and the Sustainism Initiative. Together, they envision a green economy that is driven by finance, investment, and coherent public policy. CAF is committed to empowering governments, the private sector, and civil society in every country to deliver concrete progress on ESG and jointly achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
CAF is a convergence of leaders—not just participants in Climate Action
As a regional leadership forum, CAF brings together key actors across the value chain—from public policy makers, global investors, and multinational corporations to domestic public companies, green technology providers, supply chain producers, SMEs, farmers, and local leaders. These stakeholders co-create new rules for a green economy through Sustainable Finance Mechanisms that prioritize equity, fairness, and real-world transition pathways.

Key sustainable finance mechanisms CAF seeks to catalyze in the region include
- Standards for sustainable transactions across the entire value chain that reflect verifiable carbon reduction.
- Low-interest green loans (below 2%) for companies with high ESG or Climate Action Scores, enabling transition without added financial burden.
- Sustainable innovation grants that enhance economic value while reducing ecological footprints.
- Institutional investment incentives that prioritize transparent, measurable climate performance.
- Sustainable business mergers and acquisitions, enabling industrial-scale Net Zero transitions.
CAF is therefore a critical platform where those shaping the global Net Zero economy forge new consensus on finance and investment—grounded in the principle that “sustainable businesses are the most competitive in the climate crisis era.” This vision is firmly aligned with the UN SDGs and the urgent call for accelerated Climate Action.
This is the starting point for a new economic paradigm, where all actors in the value chain are invited to co-design a future led by a Climate Vision that is powerful, impactful, and leaves no one behind.

Participation in CAF is not merely an attendance—it is a selection.
It signifies entry into a sphere of international credibility as a recognized leader in Climate Action. Organizations selected for CAF will be eligible to
- Present at the leadership level, showcasing measurable climate impacts.
- Receive formal recognition, through certificates or regional reports.
- Develop and publish internationally recognized sustainability marks, linked directly to Climate Action.
- Be featured in United Nations-level publications, as regional models for climate finance.

CAF is thus a “global platform for advancing the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and recognizing private sector climate leadership”—empowering organizations to transcend local implementation, drive inclusive international cooperation, and shape transformative global impact through Climate Action at the heart of their business, investment, and policy strategies.
