SECRETARIAT ANNOUNCEMENT ON APPOINTMENT : Paulo Vatchara Yuvanasiri

Executive Board – Distinguished Expert in Strategic Investment and Sustainable Industrial Estate Technology

The Secretariat hereby formally announces the appointment of
Mr. Paulo Vatchara Yuvanasiri
as Executive Board Member – Distinguished Expert in Strategic Investment and Technology for Sustainable Industrial Estate Development.

This appointment reflects the institution’s strategic intent to elevate sustainable industrial estate development from isolated environmental initiatives to a structural investment framework, where alternative technologies, clean energy systems, digital infrastructure, and artificial intelligence (AI) serve as the foundational enablers of long-term economic resilience, industrial competitiveness, and national sustainability.

Mr. Yuvanasiri is widely recognised for his expertise in strategic investment design that translates sustainability ambitions into financially viable and operationally executable industrial transformation. His professional strength lies in aligning environmental and technological objectives with investment logic—through rigorous ROI and IRR analysis, risk-adjusted capital structuring, and prioritisation of high-impact projects—ensuring that sustainability-driven investments function as engines of value creation rather than compliance-driven expenditure.

His work demonstrates deep proficiency in advancing sustainable industrial estates through alternative energy deployment, intelligent energy management systems, EV-supporting infrastructure, and AI-enabled operational optimisation. By integrating data analytics and artificial intelligence into industrial resource management, production efficiency, and system-wide risk forecasting, he enables industrial estates to operate as adaptive, low-carbon, and future-ready economic ecosystems.

With a comprehensive understanding of technology, finance, and on-the-ground industrial estate operations, Mr. Yuvanasiri plays a pivotal role as a strategic connector—bridging investors, industrial estate developers, manufacturing operators, and regulatory stakeholders within coherent governance and investment frameworks. This systems-based approach ensures scalability, transparency, and alignment with international sustainability standards.

His appointment underscores the Secretariat’s conviction that the transformation of industrial estates represents a strategic investment in national economic architecture, where sustainable infrastructure, clean technology, and AI are indispensable to long-term security, competitiveness, and sustainable growth.

The Secretariat expresses its highest confidence that Mr. Paulo Vatchara Yuvanasiri’s contribution, as a Distinguished Expert and Executive Board Member, will significantly advance the institution’s mission to promote sustainable industrial development that is measurable, investment-ready, and aligned with global sustainability and climate governance frameworks.
