BOI Thailand – CSCAP @ UN : Partnership Statement

The Sustainism Initiative (STNSM), serving as an SDG Custodian Support Mechanism under the intergovernmental framework of the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA) — jointly established by FAO and UN ESCAP — is pleased to announce a Strategic Partnership with the Board of Investment of Thailand (BOI) under the CSCAP – Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum framework.

This partnership aims to promote sustainable and innovation-driven investment in Thailand, positioning the country as the regional hub for sustainability-focused investment in the Asia-Pacific region.

Through this collaboration, BOI and Sustainism Initiative (STNSM) will jointly develop initiatives to attract and facilitate investment from sustainability-driven companies across the Asia-Pacific,
focusing on technology transfer, knowledge exchange, and green innovation that contribute to Thailand’s transition toward a low-carbon and resilient economy.

This partnership will strengthen Thailand’s leadership in sustainable economic transformation,
in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) serving as the driving framework for all SDGs. All collaborative programs will be presented through the CSCAP Forum, as part of AFMA’s intergovernmental mandate on Sustainable Trade, Finance, and Investment, and implemented in accordance with the United Nations principles of transparency, accountability, and partnership.
