DCCE – CSCAP @ UN : High-Level Partnership Statement

Issued under the Cooperation Framework of the CSCAP – Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum

The Sustainism Initiative (STNSM), serving as an SDG Custodian Support Mechanism under the intergovernmental framework of the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA) — jointly established by FAO and UN ESCAP — is honored to announce a High-Level Partnership with the Department of Climate Change and Environment (DCCE), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand, as an Official Co-Host of the CSCAP – Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum.

This partnership represents a collaborative platform at the regional and intergovernmental level, uniting the public sector, private enterprises, and sustainability institutions to accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy. Through this cooperation, DCCE and Sustainism Initiative (STNSM) will jointly develop and implement strategic programs that strengthen access to sustainable finance, green investment, and innovation funding, supporting businesses committed to climate restoration and sustainability transformation.

The collaboration further aims to enhance Thailand’s leadership in regional sustainable development and contribute to the realization of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) serving as the driving framework for all SDGs. All joint initiatives under this cooperation will be presented through the CSCAP Forum as part of AFMA’s intergovernmental mandate on Sustainable Trade, Finance, and Investment, in alignment with the United Nations principles of transparency, accountability, and partnership.
