The SDGs for Climate X Program, initiated by the National Innovation Agency (NIA) in collaboration with key partners, stands as a significant platform that reflects Thailand’s strong commitment to advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, with particular emphasis on SDG 13: Climate Action—a goal of critical importance in today’s global context. This initiative demonstrates the power of Thai innovation to progress in alignment with international standards, while inspiring businesses to integrate ESG principles and SDG-aligned strategies into their core operations with determination and responsibility.
The development of the Climate X curriculum is not merely an academic exercise but a practical engagement that links knowledge with tools that can be directly applied within the business sector. Participants have learned how to harness innovation as a driver of ESG transformation in business, embedding it as a strategic pathway to create Shared Value—delivering both economic performance and positive outcomes for society and the environment. This approach illustrates Thailand’s transition from being a “participant” to becoming a “transformational leader” in the global arena.
Moreover, the contribution of the Sustainism Initiative has been pivotal in strengthening the bridge between policy frameworks and business practices. Sustainism has undertaken the crucial role of nurturing and developing business partners to fully understand the process and principles of becoming Sustainable Buyers. This effort has gone beyond theoretical awareness, equipping organizations with the capacity to apply these concepts in practice—thereby elevating supply chains and the broader economic ecosystem of the country to align with global standards and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
