Empowering Sustainable Innovation to Accelerate Global Progress Towards the SDGs
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), the Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association (Thai-BISPA) convened the annual Thai-BISPA Day 2025 under the theme “Thailand’s Next Innovation Force: People Who Drive Innovation.”
The event brought together leading public agencies and innovation enablers — including NIA, NSTDA, TED Fund, PMU-B, and OSMEP — as well as universities, science parks, and business incubators from across the country, to strengthen Thailand’s innovation ecosystem and connect it with global sustainability markets.
Strategic Partnership for Global Sustainable Innovation

A major highlight of the event was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Sustainism Initiatives — operating under the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA), an intergovernmental organization established by UN ESCAP and FAO — and Thai-BISPA.
This collaboration aims to integrate sustainability principles (ESG & SDG alignment) into Thailand’s innovation ecosystem and to elevate Thai innovators to compete in global markets through the newly launched Initiative “IFS – Inno for Sustain.”

The core mission of this initiative is to
“Connect global sustainable buyers with the innovation capabilities of Thailand.”
Through this mechanism, the IFS Initiative will bridge the needs of international markets with sustainable innovations developed by Thai entrepreneurs, utilizing Thai-BISPA’s nationwide network and the international platforms of Sustainism Initiatives, such as the Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum (CSCAP) at the United Nations.
