Issued under the Cooperation Framework of the CSCAP – Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum
The Sustainism Initiative (STNSM), serving as an SDG Custodian Support Mechanism under the intergovernmental framework of the Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific (AFMA) — jointly established by FAO and UN ESCAP — is pleased to announce a Strategic Partnership with the Export-Import Bank of Thailand (EXIM BANK) under the CSCAP – Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum framework.

This partnership aims to advance sustainable trade, export, and international investment by establishing a regional platform that connects sustainable buyers and sustainable suppliers across the Asia-Pacific region — fostering responsible value chains, inclusive finance, and cross-border sustainability collaboration.
Within this partnership, EXIM BANK serves as a strategic financial mechanism, supporting enterprises through sustainable finance instruments, green investment facilitation, and trade-related risk insurance, enabling businesses to scale sustainable exports and investments consistent with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Through the CSCAP Forum, this collaboration will promote initiatives that strengthen the private sector’s access to sustainable finance and ESG-aligned capital, reinforcing Thailand’s leadership in regional sustainable development — with SDG 17 (Partnerships for the Goals) serving as the driving framework for all SDGs.
