Climate Action Leaders Recognition 2025 @ UN

Climate Action Leaders Recognition @ UN — It Begins with People, Policy, and Persistent Action
In Recognition of Strategic Climate and Environmental Sustainability Partnerships
United Nations, Thailand

In an era where the climate crisis is intensifying and systematically impacting economies, societies, and ecosystems worldwide, sustainability must no longer be treated as an obligation—but as a shared force, a collective mission that demands unwavering commitment from all sectors.

At the heart of today’s sustainability movement lies purpose-driven collaboration. Meaningful change does not originate from a single individual or organization. It arises from a network of partners who share a unified understanding and direction.

To become a partner in the mission to restore climate stability is to make a clear statement:
Not only do we acknowledge the climate emergency—We stand at the forefront of solutions.
We transform intentions into measurable results, and commitments into continuous action.

Sustainism believes that genuine sustainability starts with understanding—especially at the policy level.
A clear, actionable policy is the foundation for transformation. A well-defined ESG policy is one of the most powerful tools an organization can employ to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

We unite partners from government, private sector, and civil society to scale collective efforts aligned with SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals. Though our institutions may differ in scope, size, or strategy—when we walk in the same direction—the path of sustainability—we amplify our impact together.

We hereby declare that organizations demonstrating clear policies and practices in alignment with this mission will receive formal recognition as “Climate Action Partners of Sustainism”, with the following names to be announced.

The Criteria for Climate Action Partnership Recognition:

  1. A policy that demonstrates strong commitment to environmental and climate sustainability
Organizations must articulate a clear vision and strategy, showing that sustainability is embedded within their core business operations. The policy should reflect responsible environmental stewardship and alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals.
  2. Proven implementation of ongoing climate and environmental initiatives
Partners must provide evidence of continuous action, including programs to reduce carbon emissions, adopt renewable energy, restore ecosystems, or enhance operational efficiency with environmental benefits.
  3. Demonstrable results with transparent reporting over at least one year
Outcomes must be measurable and independently verifiable. Organizations are expected to publish a Sustainability Report to communicate their progress and accountability to stakeholders and the public.

The Climate Action Recognition Certificate is more than a symbolic accolade; it serves as concrete evidence of an organization’s commitment to addressing climate change. Recipients of this certificate are acknowledged for their proactive leadership in recognizing the urgency of the climate crisis and implementing strategic, systematic, and sustainable actions to mitigate its impact. In today’s interconnected world, sustainability transcends individual responsibility, becoming a collective endeavor that necessitates collaboration among informed and dedicated partners. By working together, we can safeguard our planet’s future and foster an economy that harmonizes growth with environmental stewardship and social well-being.
