Recognizing Leadership. Advancing Shared Prosperity.

Delivering on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development requires partnerships that turn commitments into action and organizational capabilities into shared economic, social and environmental benefits.

CSCAP Asia-Pacific Sustainability Recognition is an annual, high-level recognition programme held under the Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum (CSCAP). It honours public institutions, businesses, academic institutions and other organizations that demonstrate sustainability leadership through evidence-based action, while supporting the wider application of their achievements across the region and beyond.

The programme advances CSCAP’s mission to connect trade, finance and investment with sustainable development. It promotes responsibility as an integral part of how businesses generate revenue and grow, while connecting meaningful initiatives with buyers, financial institutions, investors and partners capable of supporting their expansion.

Initiatives submitted for consideration address three interconnected areas: climate action, responsible supply chains, and the mobilization of capital for a sustainable transition. Consideration is given to demonstrated results, benefits for stakeholders, continuity of implementation and potential for wider application, within the scope of the evidence presented.

For 2026, CSCAP is pleased to announce 21 recipients across three leadership categories, presented at the United Nations Conference Centre in Bangkok, Thailand.

A Pathway to Responsible Procurement and Supply Chain Leadership

Organizations participating in SSAB may use their policies, disclosed activities and supporting evidence as the basis for nomination for the Responsible Procurement & Sustainable Supply Chain Leadership award under CSCAP.

Nominations may be submitted through Sustainism Initiatives or AFMA, using the prescribed format and identifying the activities, results and evidence for consideration. The CSCAP Committee reviews nominations and may request additional information. Publicly presented achievements and established sustainability contributions receive particular consideration, subject to credible supporting evidence.

Participation, disclosure and supplier–buyer recognition are distinct from an award decision. An award is conferred only following the Committee’s consideration.

Through this announcement, CSCAP seeks to strengthen the relationships that help responsible suppliers access markets, enable buyers to develop their supply chains, and turn sustainability commitments into practical cooperation and shared economic opportunity.

Advancing Impact through Partnership

All three categories are connected by the principle of partnership under SDG 17: creating market opportunities for climate solutions, enabling responsible procurement to support producers, and mobilizing capital to sustain and expand progress.

Together, the contributions recognized reflect the complementary roles of public institutions, businesses, researchers and financial partners in advancing sustainable development. CSCAP seeks to help these achievements reach new partners and markets, while encouraging continued disclosure, measurable progress and shared accountability.

Recognition today honours achievement and strengthens responsibility for the future—so that organizational success contributes to better lives, the protection of natural resources, and economic opportunities that leave no one behind.
