Pathways for Participation in Advancing Sustainable Economy and Sustainable Supply Chains
CSCAP – Climate & Sustainability Capital Forum was established through the collaboration between AFMA (Agricultural and Food Marketing Association for Asia and the Pacific) and Sustainism Initiatives (STNSM.org), with the objective of supporting the advancement of sustainable economy and sustainable supply chains across the Asia-Pacific region through the framework of Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP). SCP is recognized as one of the key implementation mechanisms of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in strengthening the linkage between business, investment, trade, and responsible economic development with consideration for social and environmental sustainability.
Within this context, CSCAP at the United Nations Conference Centre (UN ESCAP), Bangkok, has been developed as a sustainability cooperation platform that provides organizations with an opportunity to publicly express sustainability commitments, strengthen sustainability disclosure practices, and connect with regional and international sustainable economy and sustainable supply chain ecosystems. In this context, the concept of “Capital” under CSCAP extends beyond financial capital to also include trust, credibility, recognition from sustainability-oriented buyers and investors, and long-term economic opportunities arising from responsible business conduct and alignment with the future direction of the global economy.
CSCAP therefore serves as a platform connecting sustainability, trade, investment, and global supply chains for organizations seeking to demonstrate their readiness to become part of the future sustainable economy, while contributing to Thailand’s aspiration to strengthen its role as a regional hub for sustainable economy and sustainable supply chain development across the Asia-Pacific region.

Publicly declare sustainability commitments through the organization’s official website
Organizations are encouraged to publicly communicate their commitments relating to Sustainable Consumption and Production (SCP), Climate Action, ESG implementation, or broader sustainability approaches through their official websites and communication channels. Such declarations help demonstrate organizational readiness to conduct business responsibly with consideration for economic, social, and environmental sustainability, while strengthening confidence among buyers, investors, and international stakeholders.

Participate in sustainability cooperation mechanisms under STNSM.org
Organizations may participate in sustainability cooperation mechanisms and collaborative platforms under STNSM.org, including the Sustainability Services & Supply Chains Alliance (SSA) and activities under Sustainism. Participation may support organizations in strengthening sustainability capabilities, connecting with regional sustainable economy ecosystems, and expanding opportunities for engagement with sustainability-oriented buyers, investors, and business partners.

The public declaration of sustainability-related information through STNSM.org and cooperation mechanisms under CSCAP may help organizations strengthen sustainability credibility, improve visibility among sustainability-oriented buyers and investors, and demonstrate their role in supporting Thailand’s transition toward becoming a regional and global hub for sustainable economy and sustainable supply chain development over the long term.
