About the Climate Action Leader Award

The Climate Action Leader Award is an international recognition presented under an intergovernmental cooperation framework associated with the United Nations system, designed to honor organizations that demonstrate leadership in climate restoration and sustainable development.

Climate change is not a distant challenge—it is a global crisis already shaping economies, ecosystems, and livelihoods. Addressing it requires collective and coordinated action across all sectors to prevent irreversible damage.

This Award aims to strengthen multi-sectoral collaboration among the public sector, private enterprises, and civil society, in alignment with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It seeks to foster partnerships and innovation that accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon, climate-resilient future.

Furthermore, the Award encourages the formation of alliances with shared goals to address the climate emergency—one of humanity’s most pressing challenges. Through cooperation, these partnerships contribute to a sustainable and inclusive global economy that harmonizes growth with environmental stewardship and social well-being.

Receiving this Award stands as a testament to an organization’s integrity, leadership, and measurable impact in advancing climate solutions.
The Climate Action Leader Award is not merely a symbol of recognition; it is an inspiration—a call to unite and act toward a sustainable future for present and future generations.
